Honest 516 Opinions

Cheers mates!

I'm in the market for a new rifle, and right now I'm sitting between the ACR and 516. That said, I've heard the 516 has a lot of problems as of late from misfires, to double fires, jams, failures to feed etc etc. Most of this info comes off the web from various review sites but I wanted to know what the users think, those of you that have actually fired quite a bit of rounds through it. Also, whats this issue I keep hearing about with the mags? I'm active duty Army and have more Magpul mags then I know what to do with and was hoping to use them if I picked up this weapon.

Me, I would spend a little more and get the ACR in hopes that someday they release the ever promised yet to be delivered caliber conversion kits imo that's the ACR's real strength

Edit: noticed your at Riley I just got out of the CAB who you with?
