11.5" 5.56 mcx kits shipping

Didn't see anything on this but I have to think a few other people were waiting on the 5.56 11.5" kits and I just got my notice yesterday that it is on the way. I should have mine in a couple days. Anybody else waiting on theirs?

What comes in the "kit" and what did it run? I am going to SBR mine for my 9"BO setup and think id like to swap out my 16" 556 for the 11.5.

My kit arrived yesterday. I only ordered it within the last month or so. Mine came with the 11.5" Barrel Assembly (including muzzle device), A MCX Owners manual, a Torx Key, and the barrel taper adapter cap.

That's it.

I am not sure what others are paying, as I received mine through Sig APP. So for those ordering through there they are shipping. I can attest that the response to the cost of the kits is "too much".

I have not received my 9" .300 BO kit or my PDW Hand guard yet which were ordered at the same time.

Thanks for the info. I'm sure it's expensive...it all has been for the mcx. When I paid for the 300 9" kit I was told it came with a bolt as well even tho I had the 556 gun and didn't need a bolt. I had to have the extra bolt and barrel and that was the cost. Then I got the kit and not bolt...when I called I'm told I don't need the bolt it's the same as the 556. I told them no way...you justified the price because it had a bolt too. I still never got it but idk if I'll persue it. I did convince them to send me there match trigger for free from all this mess which I got. I still need to send my bolt back for the recall...not sure about that yet either. My mcx has been sitting in the safe while I forget about it all. I think I'm going to keep it now tho and proceed with the sbr stamp to get it all together....and I'll probably brake down and get the 11.5" "kit" since it will be stamped anyway.

Sig APP is their Armed Professional Program. If you qualify you have to go to a special dealer and can get certain items for a discount, but even more so at the mercy of Sig as they will not even estimate times for delivery.

I dealt with a huge issue as well. I ordered a 9" 5.56 SBR almost 2 years ago, and was never told it was cancelled and literally just in the last week got a refund. In that time I have ordered a regular 16" MCX and 2 of the "kits".

Originally upon placing my first order, I was told the kits all came with a barrel, bolt and hand guard as well but now it appears to literally be just the barrel. Due to this huge 2 year delay I missed out on the 20% coupon deal they were offering on registration which is when I was planning on pre-ordering my kits, so that was a bummer.

I was also told the 9" 7.62 is also canceled and the plan is an 11.5" 7.62 eventually. If that ever becomes more than vapor ware, I will probably drop even more money on this gun and get one, but that would have to come with a bolt and maybe a mag one would assume. So I am hoping to order one ASAP if they open orders at the current price because they are already so inflated that I can only imagine what a barrel with bolt might cost if they raise the kit cost.

Like so many other people I fell in love with this gun and unfortunately I am pot committed at this point. While waiting for my SBR I bought a matching MPX, every stock option they sold, all the bags, etc. Well then the MCX 9" SBR got cancelled and I had to find a different gun. I had already bought the Tele/Folding stock as originally MCX's came with the Kate Moss skeletonized stock. Well now they ship with the stock I already have so luckily my wife found a previous version during my wait and let me get that "just in case". Well she was right! Thankfully I did.

Ahh ok that is not for me then. Can a 11.5" kit be ordered by a civilian at this point? I havent really looked...kinda forgot about my MCX for a bit lol.

I want the 7.62 kit as well and 11.5" would be fine with me...id imagine like you tho it will need a bolt and mag change as well. Maybe on day...

Yes anyone can order any of the kits, even directly from Sigs website. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure that the proper NFA paperwork is completed or pistol configuration applies.
