Nice accuracy with sig 516

Well I wasn't sure it'd be possible with a 16" barrel. But with hornady 75g BTHP and 22.5 grains of varget I'm able to get a pretty sweet grouping at 100 yards. I'll be stretching this gun out to 300yds in the coming weeks to see how well it'll do.
I'll be sure to report back with the results

You said 22.5 grain of Varget, I assume you do your own reload. I'm curious how deep you seat the bullet. What is your COAL?

VWguy1994:
I have the same model Sig516 that you do and am anxious to try your 77 gr load and have the same components. Just curious as to which SR primers you're using.
Thanks,
Mike/Loadedround

I have been using Varget for 556 for several years. It is very accurate as you know.
My 516 is my most favorite AR.
Now I need a MPX to complement the 516.

Thanks for the photo.
