| New Sig M400!!
Hey all! I'm new to the forum, just picked up a new M400 enhanced model. It was on sale at my local Gander Mountain. They had one in stock, still in the box! I couldn't say no, it's my 1st AR! I just brought it home and cleaned it up. Will be taking it to the range today! My only other sig is a P229 9mm. I love it so figured their rifles can't be bad either. I'm posting on my phone currently and will add pics as soon as I can! Anyone else have any experience with this rifle? I'd love to hear your thoughts, thanks! |

Saw one at our Gander Mtn yesterday when I was buying my shotgun. I love the Magpul equipment look. Congrats on your new acquisition!

Thanks! Just got back from the range. I spent the time breaking in the rifle and learning how it functions more than shooting for accuracy. The trigger isn't bad for a stock trigger. It's stiff, but has a nice crisp break. I'll try a couple of photos tonight. They won't be nearly as good as some on here, but there's pictures haha! |

That's great. I just bought one yesterday - a standard M400. I pick it up on the 18th. It's going to be a long 2 weeks.

Thanks again! So far I have 250 rounds through it. No issues as of yet. I'm just using the sights that came on the rifle. Looking at red dots. Micropterus, it's worth the wait! |

| M400 at Wally World
Is $917 plus tax a good price for the Sig M400 Hunter Black? A local WallyWorld has had one in the display case for some time. I couldn't believe that a Sig M400 was even in there. They were sold out of just about every other rifle and shotgun that they carry but there was this monster just sitting there. I could tell that many hands had held it from the scratches on the barrel but other than that it looked fine. Good thing I left my WalllyWorld credit card at home or my wife would have been slightly upset for maxing out the card. |

Mine was 1k too. Sorry about the delay getting pictures up. Mine is the enhanced version too. OD green magpul kit. I've been shooting American Eagle, no issues. I've also had some federal stuff that has been good. No steel yet.

The M400 is one of Sig's few winners from the past 5+ years. The gun has features you'd expect only on higher-priced rifles. The trigger isn't bad either for the price. I was glad to see Sig introduce a true AR. The M400, although direct impingement, is a quality weapon. ETA: Watch for Osage County auctions on GunBroker. I got mine for $872 in my hands. |
