| 22scm?
Hello folk's, I just bought a (new to me) but used, or as they so politely refered to it "pre-owned" Sig Sauer 22SCM that has a 18" barrel and 3 removable rubber rail covers. It doesn't look like any of the typical 522 models that I've seen. The reciever is the same as the 522, as is the mag, but the stock is non-adjustable, even though it has the folding release button and length adj. lever. The barrel is straight and has no "crown" or suppressor on it. I'm new to Sig rifles (this is my first one) so I was just wondering if anyone has any info/experience on this particular model, I'd certainly like to hear about it. I picked it up for $275.00 and everyone (other customers) at that gun store said it was a steal, as it's in "mint" condition appearing as though it was hardly ever fired if at all! It came in a black original Sig hard case with a Sig 522 owners manual but the model as I stated is stamped "22SCM. I'll try to post a picture of it if I can.
