| SIG522 question
So what are those 2 Lego like looking pieces that came with the extended butt stock? I have heard that they change the length of travel of the adjustable stock but I have no clue how to do this (not in the manual). And there is a part on the rear bottom of the stock that puts tension on a spring that goes into the butt stock, and is movable, but what is that for? |

Ok I know what all that stuff does now. The little spring loaded button behind the large butt stock adjustment lever must be pulled back and the butt stock adjustment lever must also be pushed in and then you can remove the entire butt stock. This is kind of hard to do unless someone helps you by holding the main front part of the gun (obviously unloaded). And in the removed butt stock you can punch out two pins and remove the piece in there and insert one of the two other accessory pieces. None of this stuff is mentioned in the manual I believe. The Sig Sauer 556 might have all this stuff too. OK actually I found the definitive answer here. http://www.sigpower.com/522/522.html Last edited by AJD; 03-11-2012 at 09:07 PM. That's some pretty good info here. I did not know those could be changed out like that. Good to know. Thanks for the research you did.

I don't think they just sale the Swat quad rail by itself. They do have the rail pieces that attach onto the regular hand guard though. |
