Not a bad price, but have you look at the Aim Point? I have used both and for the money the aim point is smaller, lighter, and the batteries last 10x longer.

Just my $.02,

That's why I'm leaning to the eotech. Wider sight picture plus ability to use Magpul popup sights as coes. Not using ar. for tactical or defense use. Battery life not critical to me. If I get the xps2-0 for $416 only $15 difference with Aimpoint.
I think the extra $40 is worth it for the qc mounts.

Thanks guys

I have the aimpoint SC9000 on Burris risers with a millspec front site. With the magpul folding rear site and they work perfect with each other. Nice accurate fast set-up on my M400 carbine.

Remember that Aimpoints (except for new Comp4) don't include mounts in their price, so you'll need to factor that in as well.

I went with EoTech - holo/reflex sights are meant to be shot with both eyes open, and I find my field of view less obstructed with EoTech.

Also, EoTech cowitnesses with BUIS (back-up iron sights) for the AR out of the box, and no matter how much I like my optics, I always wanna have BUIS available and quick to engage (w/o having to remove my optic) in an emergency.

Whatever you buy, just be careful. There are a lot of Chinese counterfeits out there. If the price is too good to be true.....

I can confirm that the Aimpoint PRO does come with the mount included.

I would check out Primary Arms, they offer the EoTech xps2-0 with their 3x magnifier for $489! I love my setup and their prices, shipping, and customer service can't be beat. I have the long eye relief version which is only $30 more and well worth it! Plus they sent me the EXPS which has eotechs quick detach mount on it.

I'd go with the eotech. I've used Aimpoint and Eotech for personal and overseas purposes and IMO Eotech is faster time on target

I did the only thing that made sense at the time...ended up with one of each and mix/match on different railed rifles to suit the scenarios. After 6 months with each on 3 different rifles, I can't decide which one to sell. I'll probably keep both for awhile yet.
