What do you use to clean the carbon from your Sig 556 after shooting it?

A friend told me to try M-Pro 7. I bought some and will use it next time. He also recommended Break Free CLP for cleaning, lubing, and protecting. :-) I have a S&W Airlight 22 LR with some stubborn carbon where the barrel meets the cylinder, I will try it on that. If it gets that off, it will do anything. |

Break Free CLP or brake cleaner works well. Hoppes may work as well.

+1 for the brake parts cleaner. CLP is a decent lubricant but ain't worth a crap for cleaning carbon.

I don't have a SIG 556, but I do have semi-auto rifles. I typically will use either Gun Scrubber or CLP.
