This afternoon, before heading back home to the city, I decided to take advantage of all of the open country around my grandparents house for a little shooting. I've lived both in the city and the country and they both have their high points. This is certainly one thing I miss being able to do, just heading out into the back "yard" and having at it. I forgot the Nikon but I did take a couple of pics with my iPhone of my uncle and brother shooting. Note the fresh Harris bipod and Midway shooting mat.

My brother taking his first shots with the 556.

My uncle taking his turn.

And a bonus pic of my brother shooting my little .22 single action Heritage revolver.

Wish I had more pics but as I said I left the Nikon at the house. Not bad for a phone though.

Just doesn’t get any better than that. I’ve lived in both as well… and enjoy stepping out in my backyard and shooting a few rounds as I did today. Although, I had to put on a few more layers today than a hoody.

Here are a few pics from when one of my younger cousins and I were out "playing" with his new throwing knives:

Notice the blurry knife in the air in this next one...

The damage:

And the best I could do:

I might have to try to pick up a set for myself so next time I'm around I can show him how it's done.

Those photos are from a phone camera? I'm impressed. The colors are so vivid and the subject matter is very sharp. Most amazing!!!

The gun photos were with the iPhone, and the knife photos were with the Nikon. Couldn't get the settings with the Nikon the way I wanted them to freeze the action of the knife... there wasn't enough light outside. But back to the iPhone, it has built in HDR processing. I don't always use it, but I did on the last picture with the revolver. Really helps bring out the sky and such.

Looks like you are starting with the wrong link. Do you have a link to the photobucket page with the video on it? I can probably help you out from there.
