I recently picked up a M400 Enhanced MOE in all black. I love firing it and it cycles amazingly! My question is I am planning on using it for hunting hogs and coyotes and would like to keep the use of the OEM iron sights, while having the range of a 3x9 scope at the same time without having to remove or attach anything between firing shots.
Anyone have any ideas on how I can make this work without having the scope sit really high off the top of the rifle.

Some companies are making offset sights so you can just cant your rifle and have sights available to you even though you have a scope mounted on top of the rifle. I think Sure Fire Makes a set as well as Knights Armament Company.

Here's my m400 enhanced with a KAC Ras and a leupold mk4 mr/t on a larue spr mount. Thinking of going with a free float handguard and getting rid of the front post.

iron sights with scope
Alot of mounts for handles on ar are set up where you can view iron sights along with scope with the handle still attached.
I got a US military mount for about $8 off amazon that works fine no problems.
Mounting a scope and etcs makes the rifle alot heavier. Keep that in mind.
Get mounts that are easily removed with the scope.

Sorry I guess I missed the point of the question. With the variable powered scopes you can turn it down for close up shooting.
I know you said you don't want to detach anything but the spr mount is real fast to take off so in the event you needed to, you could just use the qd levers and pull the sucker off.
