I also seen someone asking $9,500.00 for a Scar 17 on Armslist.com here in Va. I can believe he would get that much, but the way things are going, you never know.

This is getting ridiculous!

Thats awesome. By the time my stripped lowers get here end of the week, I should have college funds set up for my kids.

This will hopefully level out. If not, we've all made good investments.

Just bought my 716 Patrol three weeks ago and paid $2000 for it in FDE. Knew they could be had for less, IF you found one. Fast foward three weeks, and my investment is looking pretty good! As they say on another forum, "you can't pay too much, just too soon".

2000, isn't a bad price. I agree good investments and wouldn't sell for 3X's what they are offering currently. Has anyone noticed ammo prices have gone thru the roof on 7.62/308?

I purchased mine on the 8th and picked it up this Tuesday. $2,108.75 OTD. Considering it's California, I figured 2,000+ was a good deal. The dealer told me my timing couldn't have been better cuz prices are going up, up, up.

I believe it. Give it another week or 2 and it will be $3,000.

fingers crossed you get some good deals on ammo and magpul mags. Seems like they are all going like hot cakes, all my go to websites have gone outside of my price range on ammo and availabitily on them

I am a little light on ammo(for me), having less than a case. I figure ammo will be available later, while mags may not be. I've mananged to snag 16 additional Magpuls for it, for a total of 17. Took 3 different sources to obtain those 16, and they will probably be all I ever get, but I'm happy to have gotten them.

I hear you, wish I would have bought another case while the getting was good. Sounds like your set on mags though.

I`m kinda new at this, but why does everyone seem to want a lot of mags, I have four for my 516 and usually only load two at a time

The reason would be that they might not be available for indefinite amount of time and you could possibly have a few go belly up and would need back ups and for the most part those who have them will be grand fathered in (WE HOPE WE WILL BE, IF NOT, ALL MY GUNS WERE MIRACULOUSLY SOLD, wink wink!).

Yesterday I picked up a black 716, that had 50 rounds through it, with a Nikon BDC 3x9x50 scope and mount, plus a Surefire muzzle break for $1,900. I could not believe that with all the price insanity currently I got it!!
