Got to try my first suppressed rifle yesterday, a LWRC M6 Individual Carbine with an AAC M4-2000. Unfortunately, the ear protection I was wearing was pretty good as well - I wasn't able to fully appreciate the level of sound reduction  |

I should rephrase that - that's the first firearm I've ever discharged! Strangely, my identification is "under review" at the moment... So I don't have my own firearms at hand. They won't release them to me. I've to wait for a week! Unheard of, right? But I kid you not... The shop owner let me fire a few rounds for fun so my trip wouldn't be wasted. The rifle wasn't mine. Didn't get to photograph or video anything, unfortunately... But I'm sort of sold on getting a suppressor - mainly as a cool toy, but also for the added long - term benefits with preserving one's hearing. Last edited by Edsel; 01-15-2013 at 01:48 PM. |
