| M400 SRP sight help
Looking at troy iron sights for this rifle. I'm not sure what type of front sight I need. I am guessing that I need the front gas block version mount and and not the standard rail mount? Looking at the standard height flip. (Not the micros)

It's better to buy them as a set because my sights that I bought do not mach at all. The Rear sight is shorter than the front sight. I think the front sight is for low pro gas blocks so I'm screwed. I ended up getting a pair like these Front and Rear Flip-up Iron Sight BUIS : Other Gun Accessories & Parts at GunBroker.com They are $49.99 plus $5 shipping on Gunbroker. ![]() |

I got the Matech rear sight and the Troy HK front sight. Make sure what you get is for rails of the same height for the M400 SRP. I figured if the Matech was good enough for our military it should be good enough for me. Troy sights always come highly recommended. Good luck on your decisions. |

On a M400 SRP, just don't get polymer sights, the gas block could melt the front sight. Ask me how I know. I bit the bullet and put on a set of Troy's. Quite satisfied, and I know if I have an optic failure, I have accurate durable iron sights for back up. I don't see how someone would trust his life to just batteries, but some do.
