So now Mass. wants to ban 10 round magazines

Just like New York I think.... Mass. wants to ban "high capacity" magazines and limit them to 7 rounds... C'mon.... give us a break!
Apparently they also want to limit gun sales to one a month and close other loopholes that apparently exist. Here is the link to the legislation for anyone who is interested....

http://www.mass.gov/governor/legisla...egislation.pdf

Guess we'll all have to watch the calendar and buy one gun at the end of the month and the next the first day of the new month...

Yup... that will help stop crime!

Virginia just ended the "one (hand) gun a month" law this past July. You could buy as many rifles and shotguns as you could afford though throughout your 30 day wait. Silly.

Unfortunately it seems that one camp thinks the solution to everything is ever more guns while the other camp believes the solution to everything is more restrictions. The result is half-measure rules and regs that are eventually circumvented by the firearms industry. They are in a win-win situation no matter what happens less complete confiscation which will never happen. No one "cares" more about our 2nd Amendment rights than the folks making a killing on our paranoia.

All Cuomo did with the new gun law was copy New York City
that has been on the books for 30 years mostly and then the 1994
AR ban. Even Bloomburg, who takes credit, these laws are before him.
The base is Sullivan & Rockerfellor.
Its far from over -- law suits coming and many yelling Un-constutitional.

This is Cuomo setting himself up for 2016 elections---President.
Bloomburg money to back him, riding on his daddy's shirt tails!!

Massachusetts...

I love New England and love to talk about it whenever anyone will listen. Growing up just SW of Boston in the triangle (Boston, Worchester and Providence), I spent many summer days either playing street hockey pretending I was "Cheesy" between the pipes or shooting rats at the dump with my friends using .22's we carried openly and left on the grass while playing hockey (ammo was kept in our pockets). Ahhh, the carefree days of my youth! It didn't seem a big deal even when I was in high school and had to get my ID card after the "Law" was passsed so I wouldn't have to serve a mandatory year in jail for possession of my .22 I always carried, what a good citizen. What a stupid kid! I love almost everything about NE except all the liberal (communist) moron politicians of which even most Rep. are! It's just a conservative in MA anywhere else would be a lib. I finally got out a few years back, kinda like getting over the Berlin Wall (under 30, check Wikipedia). Now, I'm convincing all my relatives and they're slowly being liberated from the Comisar and the Proletariat by heading south. There's an old joke about MA and Beacon Hill politics, "You can always tell when the economys getting bad, the politicians have to keep their hands in their own pockets and the mob starts laying off judges!"

Yep! I miss New England, just not the Peoples Republic which is now "The Cradle of Tyranny"

I escaped from MA about 11 years ago......I'm just hoping that all the lib-tards who also moved to NH don't get their wish and have MA values instilled up here. I'm afraid it already started this past election with the sled dogs that were put into office....

Sen Ayotte is our only saving grace now. I didn't love John Lynch but he was a strong 2nd Amendment guy....no idea what we are gonna get in Hassan

Squid I feel for ya...and all the guys at Four Seasons....

Feels like a rewind to the Dukakis days and those were scary times indeed

Instead of just sitting an waiting why don't you and other Massachusetts 2nd Amendment supporters and gun owners stand up and march at your capitol, go to meetings and make your voice be heard? Fight back against the gun grabbers! Take action! You can have the same laws as my home state of Arizona or you can live like a sheep in New York City for your entire state. In 1775 a small gathering of men took up their rifles and stood guard against the foreign government in Lexington, Ma knowing they didn't have a chance in hell of surviving any kind of battle, this was to stop the government that would not listen to them from seizing their guns and ammunition stores in Concord, Ma. They stood there and looked death in the face for their g-d given right of self defense. You must be men and women and stand up and be heard.. By g-d you must be heard.. You have to make them hear you. You have to make them understand that you will not stand for attacks on your rights. This is America and we are Americans and we have rights given to us by our creator and guaranteed by the Constitution of the United States. DAMN IT!!!!! STAND UP AND FIGHT!!!!

BY G-D THE BLOODY AMERICAN REVOLUTION STARTED IN MASSACHUSETTS, YOUR FORE FATHERS AND ANCESTORS ARE THE VERY MEN THAT STOOD UP AGAINST THE BRITISH BACK IN 1775. DON'T LET THE BLOOD THEY SHED THAT DAY BE WASTED IN THE NAME OF SAFETY AND SECURITY.

Hmmmmm

Who would have thought 10 rnd mags would be considered hi cap and valuable one day. Guess I will have to dig all my calif 10 rd mags up from the bottom of my safe....they are going to be rare and valuable now!

Clearly NY and MASS want civilians to own revolvers only. Hey they can publicize themselves as "revolver friendly" now and mean it! LOL

2tango2 go immediately visit your capital and try to make a visit with the governor. Make an appointment if you have to. Go to you local government and ask to be heard during session so you can get your voice heard. What do you think the gun grabbers do? They get their voices heard by taking action. We have the constitution on our side and yet we sit at our computers and do nothing. We merely have to stand up and point at the constitution to shut them up. They have to prove themselves right. This would all go away if we would only fight as hard as they do.

Those politicians that are coming up with these regulations need to move to England.

Almost all my life in MA.

I spent almost my whole life in MA. Unless you have lived in a place like it, Russia, China or Cuba come to mind, you really have no idea how corrupt and liberal the politics are. It is NEVER about individual anything but group everything (socialist thinking). So an individual does not protect himself but the group (state) protects all. For anything to be truly effective, all variables (people) must be monitored and guided (controlled) for maximum benefit of all. Talk to the Gov. (snicker) Deval Patrick, Obama is a conservative in comparison. What are some common Ma. Pol's, Hmmmm, Kennedy, Frank, O'Neil and now Warren... Ooooo, lets not forget Tommy "Mumbles" Menino. Reason or debate with this crowd, OK! I finally voted with my feet and money. Hellooo FL!.
