Everyone, I ordered 4 pmags for my sig 716 from Sig Sauer customer service last week and they arrived today! 19.95 per unit. Call them! And I was able to clean out Walmart for 500rnds of federal 150 soft point. And say 300rnds 180 fmj winchester. Someone posted a tip about checking your local Walmarts.... Paid off.

I just picked up 15 mags. Glad I checked this forum. No one else has them in stock, but Sig Sauer. GB has them for 100/mag...ridiculous!

Still waiting on the five I ordered on the 18th from Sig. Called after two weeks to see if they had shipped and they told me they had been cleared to ship. I'm sure their shipping/receiving dept. is very busy, I just found it hard to believe that after two weeks they still had not shipped.

WTF Sig?!?! When I ordered mine on Jan 18th I was told they were in stock. When I called last week to see if they shipped they told me they were still in stock. I just got off the phone with them and now they tell me the reason they haven't shipped is because they are on backorder and due in March sometime.

When i called I had not read the forum post yet. I called and said I was having feeding issues with my 716 and i wanted to check to see if it was a problem with the mag, wanted to see if they would send me one free (Not looking to freeload, this is a legit concern). they said i could buy up to 5 at $19.95. I called back today to see if I could buy more and they said they were back ordered, I said i just ordered some on Monday. She said that was for warranty and repair. I am assuming they are not just letting anyone grab them. Also Sig locally is being bombarded with people trying to buy their stuff to resell and make a profit, so they are being careful about letting people grab too much of anything. Not sure if any of this will help, but thought I would share.

Clayton, thanks for the info. But after explaining everything about my order to Sig, and telling them that there were people on here ordering them after me and getting their magazines all they said was, hmmm thats weird but theres really nothing we can do because we don't have any. I wasn't going to demand they send out five less 716's so that I could have the mags for those rifles. I just told them that I was disappointed and thanked them for their time.

Don't feel bad. I ordered 30 Magpul SR25 mags from Delphi Tactical at MSRP over a month ago and still not received the mags.

They sent an email saying they accepted orders to lock in the price and in case there was a mag ban, you'd have paperwork showing your purchase date before the ban. Email said they were filling orders as they were received and as the stock comes in. And yes, they already took out the money from my account.

I didn't buy to resale, I have multiple 308 AR's and needed extra mags.

Also been over a month since I ordered 480rds 308 and it still has not shipped.

Ordered a MEGA MATEN receiver set locally after the presidential debate and was told 4 months minimum but might be longer before it comes in.

Hating this supply and demand situation in the guns and ammo market we're living in.

JohnC, I've been waiting longer than you, since the beginning of Dec. for the ones I ordered from Brownells. Thats not a big deal to me. I knew what was going on with supply and demand and knew those were on backorder. What I'm ticked off about is the fact that Sig told me they were in stock when I ordered them, told me they were still in stock two weeks later even though mine didn't ship, now I'm waiting because they don't have any.

I also placed on order on Delphi Tactical for 10 SR25s at $19.95 each on Dec 26th. I still haven't received them but continue to get the emails every coupld of weeks saying they were continuing to get spuratic shipments. They took the MAGs off their website 2 weeks ago. They seem like a good company and I am going to let my backorder site there until I get them or a refund due to unavailibillity.

I did find a reallly cool websiite, "ammoseek". It is basically a search engine for all ammo websites(Ammoman, SG AMMO, Ammotogo, etc). You just select type of gun (rifle, pistol, shotgun) and calliber, and it will list all ammo available. When you select one of the items it takes you to the distributors' websites to place the order. I saw 1000 rds of MAGTEC for $799 2 days ago. I ordered 500 rds from "ammo to go" during the holidays....they look pretty good although I haven't put any through my rifle yet.
