| New M400 Enh Owner, question on front sight
Hey everyone, recently bought an M400 Enhanced new. Great rifle so far, but have only shot 30 rounds. My question is about the front sight. When looking straight down the center-line of the rifle you can see that the front sight is tilted slightly to the left. It is most obvious when comparing it to the front hand guard. The hand guard is perfectly level and in-line with the rail on the upper so I am thinking it is in fact the front sight that is off. Now I haven't done any serious shooting with it so I don't know how off the sight is. I was just shooting at some water balloons. I plan on taking it to the range and really seeing what is like. Just curious if anyone has any input on this? Thanks! |

It should be OK. I believe there is a flat for the pins on the barrel so the front sight goes on true every time. If it shoots straight then it's not something to worry about. If it doesn't shoot straight then I would see about having SIG either have an Authorized SIG Gunsmith fix the problem or ship it to them.
