refurb my west german 226

tried out my $400 w german 226 today.
fed every time but one time i actually had to eject an empty case

ok maybe it was due to cheap wwb ammo, idk.
the other issues were several failures to lock back on the last round. i know this is likely a mag issue.
but i was wondering what parts are replaced by sig when an old gun is sent in for a refurb.
i saw some parts at wolf like hammer spring for sale. are wolf parts gtg?

Wolff parts are gtg BUT everything must be done in sync/balance...as you change spring tension one place it most likely will require changes elsewhere. Best to let a experienced SIG gunsmith/armorer do any upgrades in spring rates.

I have been a 1911 shooter for 20 years and have transitioned to my SIGs as of late. I find that my 1911 thumb high ride on the safety does not transition to the SIG system. I find my thumbs frequently making enough contact with the SIG slide stop to keep it from engaging on ejection of the last empty casing.

good info there.
i'm a glock shooter, those have less obtrusive controlls, that might be my issue too
