No, not yet.

I try not to touch the parts I don't need to. Besides, there're lots of YouTube videos already showing you the details on how to do so. I already knew how to disassemble my Glocks down to individual components months before I bought them (but hey, they're Glocks - no particular feat of intellect required there).

Whenever I touch these particular parts, they never come back as tight as they should.

I'll have to look at youtube again, I must have missed them (don't know how since I watched a L-O-T). I've seen them stripped down in countless videos but none that showed the piston taken down to free the spring & associated parts.

Yeah I disassemble all mine. AR's are easy, the AK & SKS are easier but I don't suppose I have any that I would call difficult....the Winchester & Marlin lever guns have the most parts but they're easy if you know how to do it.

Revolvers irritate me the most - I never realized they'd be more complex than semiautos.

They work reliably because they're built strong.

But when they fail, they fail catastrophically.

Revolver components need to be "Glocked down."

Yeah a multitude of leaf springs can be a booger if you're not expecting it lol

Thanks!

For what it's worth: I got a 516 on May 1st, manufactured in April. It was ODG, but I didn't notice until I got it home, I was so excited to get anything AR as everything was in short supply. The one I really wanted kept selling out 3X the day before I checked in at my local GS. Anyways, I wanted it all black. I changed the furniture. The black Magpul pistol grip turned out to be more "rubberized" then the ODG that came with the 516, which I liked. I changed the stock to a Magpul CTR and no more rattle! I also got a angled foregrip which I preferred to a vertical grip. I just opened up the foregrip and reversed the grip so the "separation" was on the inside. I also got some Surefire ladders (they only come in black) which were better than the ones that came with the 516. The Flash Hider will be next. Probably a YHM 5C2 for esthetic purposes. After that, probably an EOTech. After cleaning and oiling out of the box, shoots straight and no failures.
Great carbine!
Oh, almost forgot, got some Magpul PMags, Gen 2 Window

Would anyone happen to have a 516 OEM stock with the Sig logo on it that they would be willing to sell and/or ship? I just ordered a 516g2 and it comes with a magpul, however I think I like the Sig one better. If not, I'll just have both. Any response from anyone would appreciated. Thanks in advance!
