That's interesting I wonder if they changed the texture at some point. I was sure mine was a pattern very similar to the Checkered version just more of it. I ran across an old picture of mine zoomed way in it is more different than I thought compared to the checkered, but it also appears different than the picture posted above as well.

Ex. (Piranha on top, checkered below)

^^^ Todd, your Piranha pattern is the older/original pattern. Mine is what Ken at Hogue refers to as micro-Piranha, which is the current pattern. The "holes" are smaller.

I like these Nills a lot and I shoot this pistol often.

Great, comfortable grip and they never get "slippery when wet".

Got my Hogue G10's in the mail tonight. What an improvement! Can't wait to shoot it again.
