Its a 403B. Only 260 round with it, but so far works great. Nice crisp dot. Basically a Romeo5 without the huge battery cap on the side. Pretty reasonably priced as well.

"Yellow-Box" Norinco 7.62x39.

Anyone remember this stuff from the early 90's?

People who took their SKS, AK or Mini30 to a junkyard for a shooting session might have noticed that the lacquer-coated case wasn't the only thing that was steel.

I haven't been buying a lot of guns over the last few months of Self-Quarantine; have been building up savings and beating the hell out of credit card balances! I'm down to one CC with a balance; 5 others have been zeroed out and I still have money I've saved over the last almost 5 months.

The last pistol I bought, an impulse buy (there's a surprise, an "impulse" buy)!

I think that CZ makes a good product, great quality and fair customer service. Prior to the latest CZ I bought was a Scorpion handgun that I put a stabilizing brace on - its a accurate gun that has fired without fail all 9MM ammo I've put through it from cheap range ammo the +P Speer Lawman 147 grain JHP. A few years ago, AIM Surplus has Israeli Police Trade-ins that included the CZ-75B. Due to the luck of the draw I got a CZ-75, no "B". Marked Made in Czechoslovakia as opposed to the Czech Republic. Made in 1989, all matching numbers, it was $349 from AIM.

So the newest handgun, also by CZ, has been referred to by me as the 75's Big Brother; the CZ-97, .45 ACP in 10 round staggered magazines. To make the grip area more narrow they've used aluminum stocks; on the earlier versions, wood in lieu of the aluminum. I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet but it feels great in the hand...

An addendum. I almost forgot to post my 9MM Pistol that I got about 3 months ago. Made by German Sport Guns (GSG) the company behind most of the .22 LR 1911 Models sold by Colt, Kimber, and other big name US Makers; also imported by ATI.

Here's my entree into the French Resistance (since I can't afford a BAR to play Combat with) - a MP-40S; semi-auto 9MM Schmeisser Pistol copy:
