Most accurate compact 9mm pistol

While I wait for the p210 carry to come out I have been looking at many different compact pistols. Some of them have many many fans who rave about how accurate they are. The CZ compacts in particular have ALOT of devoted fans.

I was wondering what compact 9mm pistols sig owners think are unusually accurate for compact pistols -- purely subjective , what do you find to be the most accurate ?

My P229 in 9 is a very accurate pistol. Recently acquired what I consider a compact, a P239 in 9, super easy to carry, and very accurate. Single stack so very thin.

I have a CZ Rami that is extremely accurate, everybody that shoots it says the same thing.

I'm amazed at the accuracy of the p365 line and p320 series.

I suspect any popular compact pistol would be reasonably accurate is shot from a rest, or a vice. The trick is picking one that the shooter is comfortable, therefore accurate with. Very few people would be accurate with a pistol that doesn't "feel right in their hand" or a trigger the shooter isn't comfortable with. Everyone will post their personal preferences. If you want something similar to a P210 Carry find a commander sized 1911.(added: unless I'm mistaken about size and specs for a P210 carry)

This will be an interesting topic to watch. For me, my P226 SAO Legion 9mm is as accurate a pistol I have shot. Used well in USPSA matches.

The problem with getting an objective answer is that most combat-handgun shooters don't know what makes a handgun accurate. You can't rank guns based on accuracy until you know what attributes are accuracy-enhancing/degrading.

With benchrest rifles, us benchers know what attributes are required for accuracy. Therefore we can eliminate or identify inherently less-accurate components and gear.

I would imagine the sub-compact and compacts are as accurate as their full-size counter parts when put on a ransom rest. Theoretically the smaller stuff should be stiffer...but not sure you'll see that on paper with handguns.

Then factor in most of these high-performance pistols are built for speed shooting since most handgun competition disciplines are time based.

All of my compact 9s are pretty accurate. I can shoot ragged holes at 10 yards with everything I own. My most accurate though is a no brainer. Hk P7.

I am pleased with my 365's for what they are. Not as accurate as my competion rigs, but not really intended for that purpose.

I have several handguns that show out well on the range. But for a small gun my p320sc really raises eyebrows with its accuracy. It started out NIB, small grip, w/white dots. I bought it at the LGS for $485.00

I rebuilt it on an medium, w/rail, in OD grip. Fitted an APEX trigger, SIG fiber optic/night sight, TALON grip cover and Obsidian pinky rest mag bases. I had the little Crimson Trace 206 green laser that I wasn't using and it fit so well I left it on. But where this little shooter really shines is with the open sights. It really is amazing the tight groups it will put up at that 7 to 15 yrd ranges. I used it to take my CCW test.

Thanks to those who have responded, as I said I am interested in what you feel is most accurate I understand the answers will be subjective. I am not expecting to see ransom rest results but rather , what have you shot that felt was the most accurate, compacts only.

For me the most accurate gun I own would be my p210 target while my most accurate compact would be my emp4 cc.

When separating fact from fictional groups I do look at the Freedom Arms revolvers as the gold standard in repeating handgun accuracy. They are generally the most consistently accurate handgun on the planet. Accuracy degrades from there.

Most of the NIB FA listed on Gunbroker have a pic of their factory target. Thatíll give you an idea of whatís attainable at the highest level.

I know a lot of shooters claim bug-hole groups with these semi-auto combat pistols. They arenít designed or built for precision but maybe they got a good one

I would pay a few dollars to see someone shoot like that offhand from 10 yards.
