How did the Ruger57 make top 5?!?

I look at the monthly gun sales practically compulsively.

https://www.gungenius.com/top-selling

#1 Sig P365 (no surprise)
#2 Glock G19
#3 Springfield Hellcat
#4 Ruger 57
#5 Sig P320

I expected to see many other guns in the top 5: M&P shield, CZ 75, G43, LC9

People must be desperate. I speculate the parts warehouses are being emptied of whatever they have a lot of full sets of parts. Long term, best to make these lists and assemble the same in large quantities.

Makes no sense considering the complete lack of availability. I call BS.

There is no complete lack of availability. I know my LGS owner and as soon as they come in, they go out. Where are all the guns going that are being manufactured day and night....same as ammo. It's being sold.

Yes there is. Ruger 57s have not been available to LGSs in any volume for over 60 days. Certainly not at the rate of the top 5 Glock, Sig, Ruger, Smith and Taurus models which also blow out as soon as they come in. This list is a sham.

Well, being in CA myself the whole list is pretty bogus. Only the G19 (gen3) is available (unless PPT, intra-familial or exempt).

Having said that, the list is based on sales. That could be driven by available stock. I have read about a resurgent interest in 5.7x28mm. Still, it beat out the 320.
