Nice gun!! I was looking for that one in locally but bought a 44mag case color hardened one when I seen it. I still want the Silver Deluxe engraved and possibly in 45colt. I need some revolvers to go with them also

Looks great. I like the case hardened also .
Were you specifically looking for .44 Mag and how do you like the caliber?

Beautiful firearm!

Sig Sauer could take lessons from Henry. I really hated to type that last sentence.

That’s beautiful Shoot. Henry went way above and beyond any reasonable expectations.
Funny we have the same Ruger Bisleys in 45/45 lol. I also have the 44 magnum short barrel model.
Love my 1860 Henry.

Ha, they certainly did. I am very fortunate that they wanted me to be completely satisfied with this rifle. I just saw the pic of it on their website and naively assumed it to look just like it. Lesson, not learned, but remembered when it came to wood stocksets.
Your Ruger Bisley, may have been why I wanted one, ha. If you posted it on here some years back. before I got mine, I think your's was the reason. And I may have even talked to incar (and you?) about it. Anyway, funny if that's how it was . . .

Hahahaha ya I remember that. My fault lol.
Now you just need the shorter barrel version. Just under 4”. Mine is in 44 Magnum. They’re available in 45 Colt now I believe.
Maybe you need a Birdshead in 45 ACP or Colt also.

By the way, I let my Colt SAA go this winter. Trying to thin out the herd of never shot firearms.

Lol, you jogged my memory too. Glad you hooked me Twist. Beautiful collection.. If only money was water . . . right now anyway, regarding any others.

But your rifle is beautifully done. I don’t quite know what the previous wood looked like, but I DO like the dark wood you now have. Makes the gun look distinctive. And as you say, being willing to do something for you after several years is pretty amazing customer service. Wish all gun companies were similar.

Best of luck to you with your acquisition. I see you have put some range time on it. .45 Colt is a great cartridge, and with the advent of Trail Boss it is fun to reload.
I was never a fan of them either, but bought a henry 22 so I don't put wear on my Winchester 9422 1 of 2500 .
It seems cheap compared to the Winchester, so I don't call it a Henry but a Hank.

Ok, finally put my Brass Stacker sling on my .45/70 and took a few more pics of the dynamic duo. One pretty and one super bad. Also a good comparison between the regular (dark) and "Fancy" dark stocksets . . .

Just a slight difference, ha . . .

Right. I even like the dark reg. stock on the .45/70. But the Silver Deluxe Engraved Fancy stock is beautiful.

I have a no frills Henry levee gun in 22lr/s/l. It’s always been a fun little gun to bring to the range.

STILL haven't shot my two Big Boy Steel models. Now that they are making side gate loaders, I would like those. That is what I wanted but didn't want to spend a bunch on another brand.

I need to plan a cowboy day at the range.
