I had the same sort of experience with a Weatherby Custom rifle I ordered many years ago. It was supposed to have AAA Fancy Claro Walnut, but it was straight-grained. I sent it back and received a beautiful flame-grained stock.

Did some tailgate .22 plinking this afternoon. Also needed to make sure the new 25-round mag I bought for the Thomson was going to run, which it did perfectly.

And then I couldn't resist putting a box of .38s through the Henry. Damn, I love that little carbine...
