A 'collector Glock'? Well, I'm probably not going to buy, but I have always considered the original Glock 19 I got back in '92, with no finger grooves or rail and a less chunky/knuckle-irritating trigger guard, as the best version in terms of ergonomics.

Even has the old Tupperware box. Priced same as regular current Glocks....at least from them it is.

I think it's cool that they went with they original Austrian military designation, kinda' like 'P5' for an original Sig P225.

Unfortunately, the trigger guard looks rather thick and squared off like current Glocks, rather than the thinner and more round-edged originals, like:

Well, like you said it may not really be a 'collector's piece', but to be fair it isn't really priced like one, and they'll have a lot of them with no indicated limitations. So more of just a retro option for this tat it would appeal to. Obviously not as collectible as an original gen 1, but more accessible and newly produced.

I think it will sell well, I already have a few people in mind that I'm confident will want one.

Totally, they're the perfect 'toolbox' gun. And I mean that as a compliment.

If the retro aspect gets more people into the culture I’m all for it. Different people like different things. It’s personally not for me, but I still see a cool factor.

Getting a Classic gun is nice......never owned a Glock, but getting closer....why not?.....I have so many handguns, other than SIGs.....maybe ? Keep looking at the Model 23...40 caliber.....any opinions? Not concerned with the current belief that the .40 S&W is dead.....My 229 SAS was born as a 357 SIG...added the SIG .40 barrel...I love it......My 1st handgun was a M&P 40....loved firing that round.....
