Mouse Guns in Action

Yesterday I finally got the chance to fire a couple of my pistols for the first time.

One is the HP22A that I picked up for practice refinishing on and the other is a P3AT I bought for use as a BUG.

This gives me the chance to start testing the durability of the DuraCoat I used to TuTone the .22lr as well as some practice with the .380acp.

I put 100rds through both with out a single issue. It was a long day with only 1 mag for the P3AT ( the others are in route ).

Mouse Guns wern't the only thing on the menu. I brought some of my 9mm Sigs as well but I forgot to bring the spare battery for my video camera so all I have is the Mouseguns / Saturday Nite Specials.

I'ts been a long time since I've shot pistols like this but I'll readily admit that shooting these pistols are a blast ! !

I look forward to picking up some more of these cheap guns and shooting the **** out of them.

Long live the Saturday Nite Special, Big fun for a really small price.

If you look close in the video of the P3AT firing, watch the 4th round. Given the angle you can see the bullet in flight.

Here's the link to the forum where you can watch the videos.

hickock45 has done a lot of videos on mouse guns recently. Tons of commentary, and he does not sound corny. Yea, YouTube is full of poor quality videos, but there are some dang good ones out there. I’ve given it a shot. I hate my voice, and I'm not a good speaker like hickock45 is, but a good video needs some commentary. Just speak loud and clear, and think it thru before you start the cam. If you screw up, do over or edit it out.

Yea, doesn’t look like much recoil. I looked at an LCP at a store the other day, and really didn’t like it at all. Felt too small in my hands, and the trigger pull sucked, but those little mouse guns are supposed to have long trigger pulls. Makes it that much more difficult to have an AD. I’d like to rent a LC9, PM9 and PF9. Those look like nice guns, but have not seen on in person.
