Don't you need to buy an adapter to use one of those? Wouldn't it end up costing about the same?

I ditch my DPP and bought two 6 MOA Romeo 1 Pro. One is on my X5 legion and the other is on my Czechmate.

I have a DPP on a Kimber Super Jagare, a Vortex Viper on another Kimber Aegis and a Romeo on a Legion 229 and I like the Romeo best.

The Romeo is closely followed by the Vortex and then the DPP. When I first got the DPP I had some on/off problems and I now remove the battery if I don’t plan to shoot that pistol soon.

I have a P320 x5 Legion and have ordered a Romeo1 Pro. I don’t have any optics on my P226 I use for concealed carry.

The DPP was my first choice at first. It is flawless EXCEPT you will never find co-witness irons for the DPP and still have a holster that fits mile-high sights. I put my DPP on my MPX.

I was dying to get the upcoming Romeo 2 but its not out yet so Im getting an RMR-DI and I pray someone sells an adapter plate for my PRO-CUT slide

DPP on my X-Compact, I had a Dawson Precision .400 front sight put on. Have two holsters from Garrett Industries (center) and one from Bravo Concealment (bottom left) that fit it fine. The others arenít cut for an optic.

Many holster makers offer suppression sight slots which fit the .400 and probably a bit taller based on visible space.

I have DPP, Romeo 1, and 2 of Romeo 1 Pro. I think the biggest factor is personal preference on high high above the bore you want the dot to be. I have about 25 years of experience with C more. To me, the dot should be either close to the bore or way above it. The DPP is kind of in the middle and doesnt point as well as the Romeo. The Romeo 1 Pro in 6 MOA has the brightest dot and does not wash out in sunlight, so that's my preference. BTW, the Romeo 1 (non pro) has been on my ranch gun and taken a lot of abuse and works fine. Except battery must be changed more frequently, likely because it is carried so much.

I found one here, might take two-three weeks but at least they had it in stock.

For me it would depend on the application. The DPP is a pretty large reflex red dot, which is great for viewing but it sits higher than I think most pistol-mounted dots. So I'd like it on like a small AR or PDW, rifle-like gun with a riser, but mounted on a pistol I'd probably go with the Sig Romeo. Still large window, but I think it sits lower which I prefer on a pistol.

Durabiilty-wise the Leupold, no question.

edit: or like gp320 said above.
