MK25 In Proper Uniform

So the wife brings home a MK25 10 days or so ago and the 1st thing I thought when I picked it up... the plastic grip felt cheap, almost like my PMR30 but heavy. I know all the goodies are on the inside IE: the phosphate coated internals etc but you eat with your eyes 1st right? So I did this... and (according to Savoy) in 8 to 12 weeks it will live in here... Lighting/pics does not do the grips justice. Now its dressed to fit the part. The fish scales I think puts it over the top. Thank You ALL for your service.

Since the MK25 she has also bought herself a 1911 STX, picks it up tomorrow. It was always a part of her plan for when she retired from Corrections. Im lovin watch her enjoy it.

The one I ordered has no stars. I have never been in the service but I wanted to do it up right for those that have. We wont carry it either other than the occasional trip out in the yard to blast a few. I wasnt trying to misrepresent myself just seemed like it deserved more than a little anchor lol then when we found the holster it just sorta happened.

Guessing I'm the only one that looked at the pictures and immediately thought "Duck Dynasty".
