Availability Of Romeo Zero

Does anyone have any information on when the Romeo Zero will be available for sale. I keep hearing the end of July. Is anyone else hearing the same thing. I'm anxious to install one on my P365XL. Been reading good reviews from those who have tested the prototypes released by Sig for testing. Many report that the sight is pretty much dead on right out of the box. At an MSRP of $199 they should sell like hotcakes.

I decided to contact Sig Customer Service and they put me in touch with the Optics Department who told me the release date has been pushed back a bit to early to mid September. They also told me the first one released will actually be installed on the XL and sold as a complete unit. That could happen sometime in August followed by the stand alone sale of the Romeo Zero in September. I did not get a reason for the delay but with most newly introduced products this is not uncommon.

I own two other red dot optics, the (DeltaPoint Pro with 7.5 triangle Reticle, and Holosun 507c with 2.0 MOA Dot & 32.0 MOA Ring). I think the new RZ optic with MOA of 3.0 gives you just the right dot size for being a little more precise with your shot placement, instead of the MOA 6.0 version. But, it’s all an personal preference thing between each person and their own eyesight… You can always increase the dot size sceen in the window by turning up the intensity, but you can’t the other way around!

I'd called Sig last week to inquire about my XL auto forwarding
and inquired about the Romeo, the rep I spoke with said,
every time he'd given his best guess he'd been wrong...
so, currently he had no idea.

I would rather they put it off, fix what they need to, and put out a good product rather than rush to make the deadline and have to have a recall, or have people complaining they sunk money into “first generation" rather than the "good one they are selling now"

I spoke to the head of the Sig Webstore a couple weeks ago and asked about the Romeo1 Pro and Romeo Zero. He told me November for the Zero, and as you guys might know, the Pro is already shipping.

When I put my order in with Optics planet a few weeks back, their site said it was 7-12 weeks at that time. Looking now say 4-6. So that would put things still in the November time frame.

It’s Sept. 28th and still no Romeo Zero. Can’t wait for these to come out and get more feedback/testimonials.
