Like many I purchased the SAS with plans on selling the original P365. After several range trips I gotten better, however not comfortable enough to make it my EDC. I shoot in an inside range so lighting is an issue, in bright sunlight acquiring the bullseye sight is not an issue. And with old eyes and bifocals just make things even more difficult. I like many figure that a self defense encounter will/is not going happen in ideal shooting conditions. So I've got a Shield SMSc on order for my P365. Already had the slide milled, just awaiting the sight. The SAS will be hitting the "for sale" arena.

Dave, you are preaching to the choir regarding Alabama holsters; been using them for years.
My issue is the gun snagging on the pocket once it exits the holster. I've gone to Dawson sights, which are smaller than the OEM night sights...which I can't see especially well.
I can see the fiber optic front Dawson, and can see the yellow/green better than the red.

Regardless of how hard I tried I was unable to get a satisfactory shot group with the SAS green dot sights. I am also concerned at the length of time it takes to get a good sight picture with the green dot sights. I am going back to the original slide assembly and sight, and place the SAS slide assembly on the gun safe shelf to remind me to not make the same mistake twice.
Don't feel too bad I just had a conversation with the Sig Service center .
The spec according to them is 7" group at 10yrds! If you send one back and it meets their spec they will charge $60 bucks for range and ammo!
Holy **** if Id known that I would never have bought one!
My best effort at 7yrds
Second pic is Walther PPS same distance same shooter.

Well fell into a bit of luck, I think. Just happened to be chatting with a friend about the SAS, told him my dislike. One of his police friends contacted me. Guess he's been looking for an SAS. He had an Kimber Micro-Carry .380 like new that he was wanting to sell. We discussed and discussed and he gave me a great offer that I just couldn't refuse. So in a few hours we'll be making the trade. Don't know much about that particular Kimber, but what I've read and videos I've seen it seems like a nice little piece. Might end up in the wife's purse.

Shield Sights informed me yesterday that my on order sight was built yesterday, due to the holiday it'll be shipped on Tuesday. Can't wait.
