Get the SN and call Sig with it. They should be able to help you. Try to determine if it's a 2nd generation - as the issues with the earlier guns were all rectified.

According to the sn list:
66A517xxx 6-Aug-19
66A5396xx 2-Oct-19

Likely it has the 3rd generation firing pin (chamfer on the end). Your picture looks like a 2nd generation extractor (oblong pivot hole). This was about the time they started using them.

At the Top of the P365 Forum is a "STICKY"

P365 Serial Number & Production Listing

Look up your Serial # and you will see approximately where your P365 fits..

Most likely some time in September 2019.

Would it be safe to say that the gun has all the upgrades?

Im assuming the 2nd gen extractor is no good? I found another p365 with a december 2019 build date not sure if thats a better option

I assume Sig introduced the 2nd gen extractor for good reason. I just don't know what it is. Perhaps someone here has a better idea?

Without knowing anything else... I lean toward the Dec 2019 but wouldn't pay extra for it.

Trucker, any P365 made after the summer of 2018 is a good gun.
The new beveled strikers started appearing in July of 2019.
The beveled striker is the preferred one.

Sig made a minor ongoing change to the extractor, but that is a non-issue.
Both guns you are considering are great choices.

PS: The box that has the date missing seems to be a bit of a red flag in my opinion. You will have to make that call.
