That "lifetime" warranty is only 5 years on the electronics, which is what most commonly fails, of course.

If you want a great warranty, check out Vortex. Doesn't matter if you run over it in 20 years, they'll send you a new one.

The slide is milled to fit the RDS, the RDS has a rear sight groove that will co-witness with the front sight. I've not checked the accuracy of co-witnessing yet. In hind sight, I probably would have had the slide milled removing the rear sight. I thought the co-witness needed the original rear sight, but obviously it doesn't.

Taw, this I’d just my opinion; not disagreement with your post. I’m thinking there are two things to consider, one more likely, and the second more remote, but possible. Say the battery failed, or the RDS ******* out, one would have the option of the rear sight on the optic and the front sight of the pistol-practice! Worst case would be the complete obscuration of the “window“ in the RDS. Solution- point shooting. Occasionally, block the RDS “window” with masking tape and engage near by targets by natural point shooting, stare at the target (threat), present the weapon into your peripheral vision, and engage.

I'm getting my milled slide back soon. I thought my original rear was going to be useless with my SMSc installed. Looking for suppressor height sights now.

My Legion RX has the suppressor height sights and Romeo1 and its a great setup. If my Romeo1 dies for glass breaks, the sights work great. Accurate too.

Good point about deleting the rear sight, I didn’t factor that either.

Leaving the rear sight in place when getting your slide milled is a personal choice. With rear sight in place, the optic could simply be removed, and the pistol would function as normal.

The next best would be the British made and sourced Shield RMSc or RMSw with the glass lens- it's been around a while and is a proven design.

The appeal of the specific hol(o)suns that fit the p365XL- the 407k/507k, which are brand new models and just shipping- are low cost and great marketing from the communist china funded and controlled company. Durability is an unknown because those two are brand new models with no track record of their own.

If interested, subscribe to the "News, Politics" forum to see my thoughts on why many of us here at ST reject buying from china communist controlled companies.

Sorry, but your recommendations are horrendous.
The Trijicon doesn't fit the P365 without an adapter plate, which means you can't co-witness without suppressor height sights. Added expense to what benefit?
There's no Trijicon MRDS on the horizon. If there is, prove me wrong by posting a legitimate link that has evidence to the contrary.
The Shield optics are ridiculously overpriced and less capable.
Holosun optics are highly regarded by the experts over at Sage Dynamics, who are leading the charge on adoption of RDS on handguns.
Passing your political views off as expertise on red dots is a disservice to members who come here for legit purchasing advice on a very expensive mod to their firearm.

Sage Dynamics testing on the 507K is out.

Results are as expected by us Holosun users.

507K appears to be the choice with Sage Dynamics who I respect. Any idea where it would be currently available and not backordered?

Just watched the Sage YT video. The sight did well, but he could have shortened it from 20 minutes to 5, IMO. Dude likes to hear himself talk apparently. But getting his stamp of approval is a feather in the 507's hat.

From where? What dealers have them or, better, the 407K?

My Shield RMSc finally arrived yesterday. I've been working 55 hours a week so it may be a while before I get to try it . (on my P365XL).

I've got a RMS on my P320X-compact and I love it.

Sign up for back in stock notifications. I had a 407k pop up last night from a company.
