rbgsig226, Wally and Tyler have a new green that's pretty sick. I am thinking about having a P6 done in it, just can't decide if I'm going to do the frame only or slide & frame with everything else in black. Most everything that I have gets done in their finish, I have been a customer for 20+ years.

I love all your Sig pistol picture!! Those 2 tone Sigs are AWESOME! A few more pics of my favorite all time pistol.

This shows it now with the NEW small grips I got for Christmas!! I really love the feel of this pistol. It is just SOOOOO right!!

Other side:

And one of the many reasons I fell in love with the Sig PRO SP2022 9mm

That's a Winchester Bonded Personal Defense 9mm bullet, recovered after going through some water jugs. Not as nice as their Ranger T (Talon), but pretty decent. I actually carry Golden Saber 9mm in the pistol as they are better designed for accuracy, expand excellent and I feel confident in their design to put a world of hurt on some low life intent on harming myself or my family. That group, a nice 5 shot goup, was shot with the cheap FMJ Federal 115gr RN. Got those at Wal-Mart for only $10.47 a box of 50. I can't handload for much better savings than that. Primers are about $4.00/ box, and bullets in the 16.00 to 18.00 range, so at the cheapest, not counting powder, that's 20 cents per round and I can get these for 20.94/ 100 or 20.94 cents per round. Only thing is the gun store I bought the pistol from, On Target has some nice 9mm Golden Saber bullets for 18.00/100 and those are something I can buy for $23.00/ 100 (18.00 +4.00+powder?). That Remington Golden Saber is a SD bullet designed for accuracy.

I picked these two up in the last month. My local dealer is not a huge Sig fan, so when he got the P226 Elite in I jumped all over it. Need to replace the grips. Woods are a little large for me, and all I had were the digi camo for the time being. The next day, some guy came in and traded the P229 Elite. Decided it would make a good companion to the P226. I'm a fairly large guy, so the all steel is not an issue. Now, I guess I'm on the hunt for a P220 Elite.

It exists, it really does!

How do you like my serial number removing Photoshop job?

Also, those FMJ's have since been replaced with Federal HST 230gr +P JHP's. Got a few boxes in yesterday and shot 100 rounds of them flawlessly this afternoon. Seems to like them better than the Ranger T's. I'll try the Rangers again once the gun is broken in more just to see if it will shoot them like it should but for now I'm sticking with the HST's.

Nice looking pistols and GREAT photography!

When you clean the pistol, polish that feed ramp.

My SP2022 ramp before ....

And after polishing. Run your finger across the ramp. Feel for any sharp edges that would catch your finger.

My pictures don't show the "shine" of that ramp, but it's there, smooth as silk.

Used a bullet tip felt pad and polishing compound with my Dremel. My .45 ACP Taurus has a polished ramp, but it came nice and shiney.
