I bought a Sig P229 CPO a few weeks ago. I have two range trips with it and shot about 400 rounds. Today I notice that the roll pin in the slide has backed out 1mm to the left. I can tap it back in, but I think it will be a continuous annoyance and a one year warranty is very short. Here is a picture.
Dropped it off at the Pro Shop, I go into more detail on my other post. Long story short, I asked them to replace with a solid pin. He said he'd make a note but armorer would know which pin to use. I showed him the solid pin in the parts kits just as a visual as he seemed a little perplexed when I said solid pin
Will see what I get back. I hope armorer does indeed replace pin and not just tap in
I think there's quite a few of these CPO pistols with wrong pin. Part of the reason for my decision to send it back was to make Sig aware of their error.
