If I would not have just purchased those two 239's just recently I would be going nuts... He told Me it is mine & not going anywheres & I trust him.. If it works out great & if not One Day I'll get me a P-229 Stainless elite.

If I didn't have a ton of medical bill's that need to be paid now I would have the 229 Today... I'm thinking I will have it in my hands on August 10th or sooner.. I should get it though I don't think He'll do Me wrong He never had in the past..

Hopefully i'll post pic's soon....

Donations are Welcomed....lol..

Your right. I just pulled the holster out of my safe & there is no way it will fit... I should have looked at it before I asked the question..

Thanks..

I have three P229s - one in 9 mm, one in 40 S&W, and one in 357 Sig (I already have an extra 40 S&W barrel). I sent the 9 mm to Sig for the Father's Day Special plus some other tune ups. I wish I could afford the Sig treatment for all of my P229s. I also have a P239, a P238 HD, and Mosquito. Just in case you haven't figured it out, I like Sigs and they have never disappointed me.

I love Sig's too, If I had not just put new tijicons on my 239 I would have liked to send mine in also for the fathers day package..

I didn't get it yet, In a few Weeks but here are a few pic's of the P-229

I thought it would be newer like the 239's He sold Me, This 229 looks like an older model to Me because there is no accessory rail & the crimson trace laser seems like the older style & also the night sights, These night sights do not have the white outline also it has a rounded trigger Guard & not the squared off one.

The apperance of the gun is pretty clean & no holster wear, There are some scratches inside & around the mag well, I field stripped it and everything looks real clean & no wear, even the barrel has only a few sig smiley's on it & it has a stainless steel guide rod & a braided recoil spring.. It could use a few grip screws.. This time I only recieved One 12 round magazine & no box or manual..

It's still a pretty nice gun & I'm happy with it.. But not sure how old it is,, The serial number is AK12&*0 I'll have to check into it..

Judging from the serial number, it's a late 1999 or early 2000 production.

Mine is an AK25XXX, late 2000

Your 229 looks nice... The one I'm getting is the standard P-229 40 cal

He's the same guy that I got the new 239's from & They are excellent guns. I'm paying $400.00 for it & I can't go wrong with that & I may not sell My S&W 4006 after all...

$400.00 is one hell of a steal!! I have a .40 P229 and it is a hell of a gun. It is easily my favorite firearm!! Shoots extremely smoothly and is very accurate.
