Grip thickness- P220

I have a P220 carry elite, and have been using a set of aluminum grips. Love the "grippiness" they offer, but think I need a thicker set. The original rosewood grips are thicker, but don't provide the "grippiness" the aluminum grips do.

Anyone have experience and can measure the thickness of other options such as the hogue G10 or other options?

Thanks in advance.

I never measured, but I have all 3. Not a lot of thickness difference between alums and G10.

I much prefer G10s and tend to prefer the piranhas. Textured is fine also.
Chain link is so grippy I can feel it after I put the gun down.
I had it on a 239 and grew to like it, but it took time.

I have the wood on my 20-10mm and they are OK, but I think about G10s often.

If you don't have anything against latex , you could try the Hogue rubber grips. They are grippy in their own way and I believe the rubber grips with finger grooves are some of the thickest grips you can get on a SIG. And they are cheap compared to the G10s at around $25.
