I can't say enough about MecGar. I purchased two mags for my 2022. They are extended to 17 rounds (factory are 15). They are very similar to my factory mags with no feed issues after a couple hundred rounds between them.

I too have heard bad things about ProMag.

Nice find on the 225. Looks to be in very good shape.

Similar to my Contrast sights (dot on top of a square). I think these are referred to as "snowman style" sights. I do better with this than the three dot.

You may want to try Trijicon they make very good night sights & are guaranteed for twelve years & if they don't glow after twelve Years I believe they will charge You $55.00 to install new ones if You send them your slide,

My link http://www.trijicon.com/na_en/produc...tns.php?mid=15

It will cost You about $150.00 total for the trijicon night sights & installation from Your local gun shop. Trijicon make quality sights..

Thanks guys

I found a new to me site called back page and made an ad requesting to buy magazines and ive picked up another 3 and 1 maybe on Saturday. The 3 mags that came with the 225 have sig sauer stamped on one side but the 3 I just picked up are identical and only one says p6 on the base plate, so are these mec gars? I mean Ive looked over these mags and cant find a stamp or name or anything. I would post up some pictures but they dont look any different than the ones in my first post.

Needed to go out and check the function on these newly acquired mags(Like I needed an excuse to go out shooting LOL) and I just love this gun, I might have to get me another one

nice choice on a new handgun ....... congrats!! seems to be in order !! at least it has NO appearance of being used as a sheetrock hammer !!

i have been looking around for larger "mags" for my 220 (extended), and all i can come up with is the 10 rnd (i have 6 "sig" 8 rnd. soooooooooo, i'll just leave things alone, and NO ! i didn't find any hi-cap for the 225 .

i have a friend that owns a machine shop that extended one of my mags for a nor. 213 to 15 rnds. but i rarely use it . i have 3 org mags for it anyway, so it's kinda like ..... what the heck am i doing ?

my thoughts only.......steven
