Range trip with the 239

Went to the range today took the 239 and new Ruger LCP had hoped to take the new 224 but couldn't pick it up until after I left the range.
I put 5o rounds of >40 FMJ and 8 rounds of JHP through it with zero issues then switched to the 9mm barrel and ran 50 FMJ using the .40 mags and had zero issues (I do have some 9mm mags for it but wanted to try the .40s)
The LCP II ran thirty round with no problems also.
The 239 is a real sweet shooter and I'm looking forward to shooting the 224 maybe next week.

P239 is a legendary SIG.

I had one, in 357 SIG. Grip was too short for my big hands. My 229 is perfect sized, and chambered in 357 SIG.

I like the 225-A1 better than 239. Fits better than a glove. But, limited to 9mm.

That's encouraging Birdzman! I just bought a P239 in 9mm yesterday and look forward to a range trip this weekend.

It was very soft shooting with the 9mm, it's been quite a while since I've shot an all metal gun in 9mm so it was kind of a nice result to be able to rip off eight rounds rapid fire and keep them all in the center of mass.

My P239/9 is well broken-in, and is a sweet shooter. I carry it everyday with 147 gr Speer Gold Dots.

Second range trip took the 239 and 224 100 rounds of .40 cal split between the two about 60 for the 239 and 40 for the 224, both were flawless. The 239 is definitely less felt recoil than the 224 with a flush mag I didn't try an extended with the grip adapter this time but will on the next trip.
I like them both a lot.

I never thought I would really enjoy my P239 SAS Gen2 9mm when I got it, but I wanted to try. I absolutely LOVE shooting that little pistol. So soft-shooting and so freakin' accurate! Just puts a smile on my face every time I shoot it.
