Need some help identifying a Sig.

I left my layaway paper work at home so I cannot look up the model number.

The gun is black and has the has "stainless" on the slide. It also has a picatinny rail under the barrel. Just want to look at some youtube videos of it while I'm at work.

Jon,

Unfortunately there's not enough information to have a chance at identifying the gun that has caught your attention. The presence of a rail means the gun is later than about 2004 or 5 (thereabouts), the "stainless" on the slide is of little help either, as American made SIG slides have been stainless since the first P229's in '91-'92. I'm no SIG historian, but I think I'm close on this.

Might want to go to Sig's website and look through their selections that they have and see if you might find a match there. You did state that you thought it was a 226 in your other post, so you can just select that on the site and go from there.

Probably not, he said it said stainless but it was black. Like Stingray said though, you mentioned it was a P226 in your earlier posts

Ok I had my wife look at the layaway recipt. It's a Sig nitron. It's a standard p226 that's nitron coated.

I have a coin in my pocket. It is silver color and has In God We Trust on it. Can anyone identify it for me?

Sounds like a garden variety machined stainless slide, alloy railed frame P226. Seriously man, asking folks to help you ID a SIG with literally no info, and zero pics, will not get you anywhere.

I would have posted pics but I do not have the gun yet. I just called my dealer that I am buying it from. I was making sure it came with siglite sights. Some I have seen on YouTube do not have them and it had me curious. Sorry for the confusion.

I promise I will post some pics when I get her. I feel like a kid on Christmas eve man. Now it's time to find a good carry solution.
