Wow, hearing about this pistol didn't interest me all that much, but that looks like something I need to own. Ha...

Wow, very cool! Will be sure to feature it on the front page once it's announced officially.

Looks like it's almost the exact same length as a P239, and about 1/3" shorter.

Also: in the features box, it says that it has a "frame-mounted decocking lever", which tells me that there's a DA/SA in the works as well.

EDIT: Duh - it also says "DA/SA coming soon" in the features box. Awesome.

Will definitely be getting a DA/SA version when they come out.

Every Sig looks like something I need to own.

Well. maybe not the 250, though.

You're going one way and I'm going the other. My TacOps is on the chopping block right now. I just don't think I can keep the Sig knowing that the P30L can do everything the Sig can do and be lighter and better fitting while doing it.

Nah, I LOVE my HK's, I just wish they had more Sub-compacts like SIG does.

HK only has one: P2000SK

I had one and sold it. It carried well, but we just never got along...

That P224 looks REALLY nice.

If SIG does it right and it proves to be super reliable out of the box like the "classic" P series SIGs they will sell tons and tons of them.

I love my SIGs but no doubt SIG had a rocky launch with the P238 and the P250. They can really redeem themselves this time if they do it right from the first one that ships out for sale.

The more I think about it, the more I've decided I will be getting one.

The width is the biggest paper stat for me. 239 is 1.2" wide, no problem. The 229 is 1.5" and just a hair to wide (for me, cc use) so this new one should be good. Won't be the guinea pig though.

I have no problem being an early adopter on one of these. This is very close to what I've been wanting from Sig for a long time.
