Anyone know the history on these purple springs? Why purple (as opposed to dark blue or light blue)? Where were they made at?

I might be wrong in my thinking, but I think by now, Sig should have captured recoil spring assemblies.

P220 R 5 10mm recoil spring/guide rods are a captured assy.
