250 series pistol reliability

I know that a while back the 250 series pistols didn't do so well when matched up against Glock and S&W for a government contract. That whole system was pretty new at the time and maybe got rushed onto the market a little to soon, I don't know for sure. But how have they turned out over time. Are there problems or are there curable problems. Would be nice to hear (honestly and subjectively) that they are now problem free.

I have had one since February and its been okay at best. Its a 9mm compact and in addition to several FTE's the front sight has loosened up twice, and the take down pin has become so tight I almost cant turn it. Now with all that being said, the slide is at sig and they are sending a new take down pin so it might be fixed after that. I can say that it does not feel very well built compared to a glock or even a sig 2022. There are better hand gun options out there in my opinion.
