The guy I bought the pistol from said he bought the gun new and that is how it came out of the box. Even if the slide was done after it was made it seems strange to me to have the bottom of the slide done. I will call Sig on Monday and see what they say.

I have gotten a few opinions but not even Sig has been able to tell me exactly what the engraving stands for. Sig did tell me that the engraving was done by them but that is all they were able to tell me. I have a few leads I am following up on and will report back when I know more.
