Question P239 All Stainless (frame & slide) - Do they exist?

I've done a search on SIG Talk and on Google and didn't see what I'm looking for. Did Sig ever make a stainless steel P239 both frame and slide? I've found pictures like the ones below, but I'm positive that they're not stainless frames and instead just treated:

Anyone? I know you can get P239 with a stainless slide, but I'm asking about the frame. Did it ever come in stainless, or should I consider getting some coating for my aluminum alloy frame?

Did SIG Customer Support have any information?

If you get connected to the right person, you can get lucky.

Just called Sig Sauer Customer Service. All they did was check their current offerings and say no. He did say that it is possible they may have had a custom military order at one point but he couldn't say definitively..

So... anyone? :-)

Sig will bead blast the slide back to stainless for 69.00. My avatar lower gun used to be a nitron 239 with holster rash on the slide. Now it's a newish looking two tone.
If you do it, get a silicone cloth and wipe the slide down several times soon as it comes back.

As far as I can tell from reading about P239s in a variety of forums over the years, the answer is NO. The nickel P239 in .40 was a limited Gun of the Month offering by Sig. Any nickel 9mm was apparently done after it left the factory.

If Sig every offered an all-stainless P239, I would buy one immediately, although it would be a heavy little fella.

I think it was April 2005 a 239 GOTM was offered in satin nickel. I've asked several times about one with no luck. Did find a gentleman who claimed to have one for sale but never received any pictures or anymore info. Love to have a stainless too.
