Picked up a new SIG today

Traded my P232SS I very seldom use for a M11A1 that I think I'll be using
quite a lot. Only had time to run a 100 rounds of mixed Self Defense ammo
thru it today and didn't get to bench it but I was impressed with the way it
shot. Seemed to like the Hornady Critical Duty 135 gr +P the best. It was
windy and the targets were getting blown around a bit.
Here's the gun and one of the targets at 7 yards off hand at about a shot a
second.

Nice pickup. I'd say it was meant to be in your hands. Either one of them.

Feels like it. Almost makes me wish I was still on the job. It's be a great
service weapon.
Almost, that is. I love being retired. I haven't had to raise my voice to
anyone much less tackle a fleeing perp in nearly 4 years and I'm lovin it!

Nice group, I would say that it likes that 135 Hornady pretty well.

It shot everything well, but the Critical Duty best. This was just off hand. I'll
bench it the first chance I get with a variety of ammo and do a more thorough
job of testing it out. It fit's the holsters I have for my P220 Compact SAS so
I'll be carrying it around the farm.

Yeah, already carried the M11A1 more than I ever carried the P232. I only
gave $300 for the P232 a couple years ago. It came with 4 mags. I bought
it from a friend that had lost his job and was selling off a bunch of handguns and a AR.
I bought 5 or 6 guns from him and prices so low I'm almost ashamed
to have paid for them.
That means I got the M11A1 for $300 bucks. Not a bad deal at all.

Yep, the 232 was nice and shot like a dream, but I have a Kahr P380 for when
I need a .380. It was just a bedside in the drawer gun and had never been in
a holster for anything but fit. Never carried by me or the Deputy I bought it
from.
Wish I could be so lucky every gun trade I make.

Love it! Where's your sticker? One of theses will be my next SIG if I don't pick up the super secret P220 Legion first.
