P227 grip options?

Would it be safe to assume there will be no grip options for my P227 being the frame does not have grip screws? I was told there may be disk frame inserts to allow grips with screws to be attached to the P227 but i'm not sure if that's true. I like the E2 grips but they hold oeverything from dead skin to dust. please share some input.

e2 grips snap into the threaded inserts for regular grips on other sigs, guess they will on the 227 too.

For now, P227 owners are stuck with the E2 grips. But I would keep an eye on Hogue's website, since they are one of Sig's supplier when it comes to grips.

We can hope that some screw inserts will be available for the P227 sometime in the future. Something like these for the P224.

The G-10's I purchased recently for my P224, which came with E2 grips and no tapped hole in the frame, as well, did come with the threaded grip screw bushings and screws. I would expect similar with the P227.

I know I've seen comments on SigTalk on measurements that seem to indicate it slightly improves length of pull on the trigger. Hard to imagine it could over the ergo grip but that was the indication. They do appear to me to be narrower by not having the palm swells on the sides that the ergos have.

I plan to eventually try some on a P227.

Those look good on Pete K's.

I now have three sets, two for 227 and one for the 224, the 227 grips do feel slimmer at the top than the E2's. I thought the E2's were ok but like these better. Not sure yet on the 224, the hump on the back is not as defined, more rounded, I think that hump might help the grip/fit for that little thing.
