Did a Moly Resin two tone job on my 226 tac

Made my Sig 226 Tac Ops a two tone using Moly Resin.. Not too hard if you have a good spray gun and compressor.. And your wife dont mind you using the oven for an hour.. Came out real nice except I narfed up the finish a little putting the roll pins back in for the extractor and fire pin.. Just doing the slide would have been easy but I wanted to have the slide release, mag release, trigger and de cocker match so I disassembled the lower of a pistol for the first time. Thanks to you tube was not too bad..

Congratulations, I've did a couple of older non-Colt 1911s with Brownells Baking Lacquer, in a can, but never tried any of their more "premium" finishes, as I don't have a "Spray Outfit".
Besides if anyone had ever seen the old Chevy pickup, I had painted back in the early '80s, they would understand why...

It looks great, you guys from Austin are always showing off.

My wife would tar and feather me if I used HER oven to roast a gun.
I tread lightly in the kitchen.

You need to remind her that a man's home is his castle, and you can do whatever you like. They like that. All my ex-wives did.
