I own a Legion and since the first day I've been fighting with customer service over the quality go the finish. I am currently trying to see how many people have actually been able to have there Legions fixed or replaced. Mine left the factory with two tiny chips, one on top of the beaver tail and the other just inside the hammer housing. So basically Ive got an extra 2 dots my eye catches before my sights. Not to mention I've noticed on lots of pics pf sigs there is always a blemish on the right bottom back of the back sights from wear during install. This is also a distraction if you have good eyes. Otherwise weapon fires great! Just have to send mine in and see if they even do anything to it or not.

Or...you could just shoot the heck out of it and those two would no longer stand out among all the rest. In all seriousness, I get being disappointed with chips on a brand new gun, but from all accounts, SIG kind of blew it with the PVD finish...so the gun will get very worn probably quite quickly. In other words, if I had a Nitron finish with chips I'd send it back...a Legion, not so much, since it will get worn fast anyways. I have my first Legion on order as we speak. If it comes with chips it'll just motivate me to get to the range that much faster.

I did all the upgrades prior to the Legion's arrival, minus the sights, but if I hadn't gone XRay when they became available I'd have put Trijicon HD on. I still might with the HD XR series.

I prefer the short extractor and true 1913 rail. I'd have liked the trigger undercut, but would rather have the short extractor.
This, I and maybe a few others would like to see a pic of maybe in a new thread as not to hijack this one.

I'll throw some pics into the stickied pic thread at the top of the forum.
