It really doesn't matter in what order you buy your Sigs. 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc... they are all important but not necessarily the order. What is important is that your master plan includes at least one of each Sig you like and leave room for the ones that you don't like now but will have to have as your Signess progresses.

Find a good used 229, or pick up a new 320.

There will be many more Sigs in your future....many many more.

Bingo. What do you want your new sig to do?

Looks like a great choice and I wouldn't have to buy different ammo.

If it wasn't for 229s, 239s, 226s and 320s I'd be all in.

I had less trouble picking my sons' names...

Good question! I like carry guns because I can justify the expenditure at least in my mind. I have enough safe only firearms and having a range only shooter seems extravagant.

I'm going to look at 239 since I'm not familiar with it. Thanks Willard!

Doesn't matter, once you've been bit by the sig bug more of them are soon to follow.

....... But since you asked, everybody needs a 226 Tacops in their life. Something about 4 20rd mags just brings a smile to my face.

TRP (Not a Sig) or....a Sig

Legion.

Solid platform for the price. Outstanding trigger. SAO or DA/SA. Or get something else and just spend extra on shipping to a smith, time, labor, and parts.... and get what you want.

First Sig I tried had a spongey trigger and that kept me away for over 20 years. Went 1911s and Striker fired. Tried the Legion and bought two in two months.

They are not as good as my TRP or One of my Colts, but close.

I am sold on the P226 Legions. Ergonomics and function. I carry either one. 9mm and .40.

Just a simpletons opinion.

You don't sound simpletonish.
A quick question. Since 229s are smaller and you carry your Legion, why did you choose the 226? Does its size present any conceal carry difficulties?

I'm hoping not to spend a mint just now, maybe a Sig reconditioned pistol.
Dude, pay down your bills completely. Do not buy a Sig (or any gun right now, for that matter).

Not worth stretching finances for a 2nd Sig. Just my .02

Probably the best advice I've seen on this board in a good while.

Told my son's. Save and buy a junker, make new car payments to your savings account until you have enough to buy the car you want for cash. Buy it, then make new car payments to your savings account - repeat. Vehicles will always cost you much less. Paying cash that you saved will tend to make one less impulsive as well.

Everyone should have at least 1 226. I love my X5 Allround in 40. But my 1911 Ultra 45 is my favorite Sig.
