The P226 NAVY is a non rail frame (first series) NSW gun and most/if not all are marked with the NSW serial number prefix

P226R NAVY is a standard railed frame (Sig rail) with the anchor slide and most/if not all have "UU" for the serial number prefix.

NOTE:both of the afore mentioned pistols DID NOT have the UID markings on them.

Current MK25 pistols have the true 1913 Pic rail and come with the UID sticker.

Store called and confirmed the 226 Navy has the rail, so it's the "Middle" version. Not the NSW or MK25.

Any idea what the price range COULD be if if excellent condition???

This gun is on consignment, guy is asking $575.

If it's in "excellent condition" $575 is a good price.

Well, the NAVY was not so "pristine" after all.

Saw it today. Lower edges of slide on both sides, were absent of Nitron coating. Stainless visible along both edges. Scratches on frame around trigger. 1" scratch on frame next to de-cocker. The trigger was a Short Reach, not the Standard "fat" trigger. All 4 grips screws are damaged. Looked like the owner used a chisel to remove and replace screws. Standard SIG slotted screws.

I passed on this one.

I would rather buy a new MK25 than spend $575 for a beat up NAVY.

Perhaps the guy who said it was "pristine" might be due for an eye exam?

Who knows, he may have been a former "Squid", and was too busy drooling over the "Anchor"!!!

No offense intended to my Naval "brothers"... couldn't pass it up!!! - a former "Jar Head"

I'd love to see pictures of that thing. Hard to believe someone was able to mess one up that bad.
